Most of you will probably associate ARCO (Atlantic Richfield Company) with cheap gasoline on the west coast of the US. Back in the 80s the branding power of the Olympics and the draw of the running boom was so strong that they had to enter into the sneaker game and make running shoes. These vintage promo shoes were probably made to draw attention to ARCO building the track and refurbishing the Los Angeles Coliseum for the 1984 Olympics.
