Kinney NBA ...42 years later an iconic sneaker legend resurfaces. A few days ago we posted another upside down Nike swoosh in a vintage ad for AAU brand sneakers. May as well bookend the work week with another pair of old school bootleg grails.
Back before Nike made the recent swoosh factory error sneakers there was the 1970s Kinney NBA brand kicks. These flipped swoosh sneakers date back to around 1977 based on this Kinney ad we posted on the site last year. Btw, the Nike factory flaw swoosh sneakers owned by Andrea Canziani are now valued at $143,000 according to the episode over at Sneakers by VICE.
